During Advent 2021, we have our weekly communion service at St Mary’s Church at 10am each Sunday, where we light our Advent candles and celebrate the events leading to the birth of our Lord.
We have an Advent Quiet Day at St Richard’s Church on Saturday 11th December between 11am and 3pm. This Quiet Day offers space for you to spend time with God in the hectic run up to Christmas. There will be three short meditations and a variety of contemplative ‘prayer stations’ and activity and craft tables. You can join us for the whole day or just drop in for a short time. Bring your own packed lunch – tea/coffee and soft drinks will be provided. For further information you can contact our churchwardens on churchwardens@northolt.org
Our annual Carols by Candlelight service returns on Sunday the 19th of December from 6pm at St Mary’s Church. Join us for a traditional night of nine lessons and carols by candlelight, with mulled wine, mulled apple juice and mince pies served afterwards. We’ll also be running a festive raffle afterwards.
While we work to recruit a new priest during the interregnum period we find ourselves in, our Christmas Eve mass will be at 9pm instead of midnight. Please join us from 9pm for a traditional service with carols to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At 10am on Christmas Day, we’ll be running a short service at St Mary’s Church, led by Father Keith Stephenson as celebrate this joyous day!
