What is Alpha?
Alpha is a free course that explores the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Starting on the 21st of February at 7:30pm in the Northolt Village Memorial Hall (opposite the Crown pub).
Maybe:
- You want to find out what faith is all about?
- Your faith has waned and you want a space to reflect?
- You are looking to ask questions and recharge your spiritual batteries?
Everyone is welcome. You can come every week or just dip in and out, depending on your availability.

What to expect?
Connection
Alpha brings together people from all walks of life who are curious about faith. Each session starts with some time to relax and get to know your group over tea or coffee and biscuits.
Content
Each session covers a different topic of faith, either in a short talk or video. These are designed to explore the big issues around faith to engage and inspire conversations. We cover questions such as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why am I here?
- What’s my purpose?
- Why and how should I pray?
- How can I resist evil?
Conversation
You can share your thoughts on the topic and discuss it in small groups. It’s an open and welcoming environment, no matter what your opinion. There’s no pressure to say anything, but the floor is yours if you do want to.
