Communion Service and Children’s Church
Join us at 10am each week for our friendly communion service with Children’s Church at the Memorial Hall for those children that would like to attend. Don’t forget to come to the Memorial Hall afterwards for tea, coffee and a friendly chat.

Our Community Choir meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 8pm at St Richard’s Church (Sussex Crescent, UB5 4DR) on the Racecourse Estate. It’s a free activity that is open to one and all – no auditions necessary, and we try to sing a mixture of popular songs.
Find out more »Monthly Breakfast and Churchyard Maintenance
Join us at 9am at the Crown for breakfast, before heading over to the churchyard to help tidy it up. Some tools will be supplied, but wear sturdy shoes, bring your own gloves and any tools that you have that you feel may be useful (petrol/cordless strimmers, loppers, secateurs, etc.).

The monthly pub quiz with a hairy twist this month to celebrate Movember takes place at The Crown pub. Teams of up to six can enter, costing £1 per person. There's a prize of 6 bottles of wine for the winning team, as well as a consolation prize for the losing team! Starts at 7:30pm.

Come along to our annual and ever popular Christmas Fair. Meet Father Christmas, enter our raffle, buy home-made jams and cakes and take part in other festive-themed activities. Hot soup, tea, coffee and other refreshments also available to purchase. Free entry, with lots of activities to keep children entertained.

All Age Service
On the first Sunday of every month at St Mary’s, we all meet together for around an hour. This means that our Children’s Church are in St Mary’s with everyone else for the whole service, rather than meeting together separately. This is a shorter communion service that aims to involve everyone, with a simpler message to help us think, an activity or two to help us engage and our normal singing and celebration of communion.

Join us from 7:30pm in the Crown Pub to sing some carols and raise money for a local charity. It doesn’t matter whether you have the voice of an angel, the croak of a frog or just want to listen and enjoy – all are welcome! This promises to be a truly festive night to remember, with carols old and new being sung accompanied by a keyboard player.
