During this time of mourning, our churches are open for those that would like a space to pray, light candles and reflect upon the life of our late Queen. We have books of condolence at both St Richard’s and St Mary’s for you to sign if you would like to. Our churches are open as follows:
Saturday 10 September – Church is Open – 10am to 12 midday – St Richard.
Saturday 10 September – Church is Open – 12 noon to 5pm – St Mary.
Sunday 11 September – St Mary – 10am Special Service – then Church is Open until 2pm .
Sunday 11 September – St Richard – 6.30pm Special Service – Church is Open until 8pm.
Tuesday 13 September until Saturday 17 September: St Mary: 9am – 10.30 with Morning Prayer at 9.30am.
Tuesday 13 September until Saturday 17 September: St Richard: 6pm – 7.30pm with Evening Prayer at 6.30pm.
Sunday 18 September – 10am Special Service – Church is Open until 2pm – St Mary.
Sunday 18 September – 6.30pm Reflective Service – Church is Open until 8pm – St Richard.

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
